I have not made anything scrapbook related in I dont know how long.
I think since I resigned from my design teams.
I didn't make resolutions this year but if I did, number one should have been SCRAP!!!

I had a really BORING weekend (although everything is boring after my eventful vaca to Florida). The only exciting part was when I met Jana on friday for a little shopping.
Which by the way Jana, I need to know where you got your Uggs???
I decided I need a pair.
Mine will be black.
But can I buy them in Ottawa???

Work is going well in the new year.
I still need to finish getting my life insurance liscence which will make work go even better for me.

My apartment is finally done. My dad came over and helped me hang some shelves etc this weekend.

First, as you can see my banner is up!!!!
I have to give a BIG thank you to Greta for helping me figure out how to post the damn thing.
And of course, thanks to Kristi Sauer for designing it.

Single life is still treating me well.
Lots of good times happening.
Lots of dating going on.
And still LOTS of girly time.

Sunday was Tryshia's Birthday, so Saturday evening the bitches got together, dressed up, had some wine and cheese, bitched and then had some more wine.
We went dancing and made complete fools of ourselves (as per usual).

Once at the bar, we danced together for a while, switched from wine to hard liquor and then all got seperated.
Some girls left for another club.
I stayed until the lights came on, long after last call.
We all re-connected the next morning for greasy food and stories of where we all ended up.
Fun times.

Update...

• Kristi S made me a spectacular banner in which I have not been able to post because I still don't know how to use blogger....can anyone help me with this?
• I resigned from my design team positions. This was an extremely difficult decision but it had to be done because I felt as though I couldn't keep up anymore. I would be going on 2 years with Scrapgirls this spring but I am so busy with my new career that I just couldn't stay. I do miss the scrappies though.
• The Sens have not been playing to my expectations lately but they did win last night so I think things are looking up.
• Saw Borat last night. LMAO.
• Last weekend was girls weekend (as most weekends seem to be lately). Friday we drank a bottle of wine each and headed out dancing.
• Saturday we were hung over and lay on the couch for 12 hours. Mostly, we watched MTV, ate junk and bitched.
• This weekend will be laid back. No drinking or parties for me.....just laundry, cleaning and maybe a trip to Starbucks with Margo (A.K.A MOM).
• I love bullet points.

LOST?

So I just realized that LOST will be going on a 12 week hiatus after tomorrow nights episode. That means I have to wait until the END of January. I barely made it through the summer hiatus and now I am faced with this horrifying news. Apparently, tomorrow's must-see episode will "re-define" what you may have thought was happening on the island.
GEEZ.

Confession Time.

My confession is that I am single.
Greg and I broke up in May and I moved out of our home in June.
That is one of the many changes that happened in my life this summer.
I had some hard times but I have to say I am happier than I have ever been and it was the best move I could have ever made.
Luckily for me, my best friend Trysh is also newly single so she has become my date to everywhere I go.
We had the BEST weekend ever....out on the town as singletons.
It all started Friday after work with a bottle of naked grape:

This was my second Dixie Chicks concert and I have to say I could tell that they are lacking the funds that they once had. The last concert was more upbeat and they had more stuff happening on stage.
I am a huge fan so I loved seeing them either way. Trysh and I sang and danced (and drank) our way through the entire thing.
Saturday night we got dressed up and headed to the Chateau Laurier for the snowsuit fund gala. Trysh was decked out in banana republic and me in my Anne Klein.
